"Good luck, ... I hope I will see you again..."

- Sepron

Sepron the Sea Serpent is a Good Beast who protects the Western Ocean of Avantia. He is a long serpentine Beast with green hair-like mane often compared to seaweed and a wide mouth lined with jagged fangs. Sepron is the only Good Beast of Avantia to make his home in the water, and as such is responsible for protecting the entire ocean, and on some rarer occasions, the Gwildorian Ocean across the strait when Gwildor's sea Beast Krabb requires aid. The Sea Serpent is involved in battle with another Sea Beast for control of the ocean every generation, with the only known opponent being Zepha and the battle for the Western Ocean coinciding with Malvel's plot to protect the Golden Armour and the Monster Squid being one of the Beasts loyal to him. Sepron can occasionally appear out of the water magically, with a small pool forming under him to keep him hydrated. As a Good Beast of Avantia, he was targeted by Malvel in his plot to take power in Avantia, which resulted in him being corrupted and chained to the ground and creating tidal waves to batter the settlements on the coast and drive away the fish, causing a famine for much of the coastline. Alongside Tagus, he was one of the two Beasts of Avantia not to appear in the Maximum Games Beast Quest game, but did appear as a major boss in the Miniclip Beast Quest mobile game.

Protecting Avantia[]

When Sepron was first born, he was only the size of a dolphin and unable to protect the ocean. Before he reached adolescence, the young Beast occupied his time playing with other creatures of the sea. Eventually, he was ready to perform the needed role and took up the mantle of protector of Avantia's ocean.

During his time protecting the seas, various sea Beasts, who needed their own territory and were only able to find it in the sea, challenged Sepron for dominion of the Western Ocean. The Beast won each of these battles, and maintained his control of the sea. Little is known about these battles except they occurred roughly once a generation.

When Taladon was collecting information on the Beasts of Avantia, he travelled with his brother Henry to the sea. Sepron detected the pair in a small boat, and likely in greeting of the Master of the Beasts and unaware Henry was unaware the Beasts existed, the Sea Serpent leapt out of the water nearby. Taladon was forced to convince Henry what he had seen didn't exist and was simply a figment of his imagination in order to keep the Beasts secret.

Where It All Began[]

Malvel attacked Sepron and the other Good Beasts to bring them under his power. He fastened an enchanted collar chained to a small rocky island, corrupting the Sea Serpent. The Beast began to create huge waves and scare away the fish, causing famine and risking the destruction of coastal settlements to lower resistance to Malvel's attack.

Leviathan

Forbidden Lullaby

Sepron snapping the boat's mast.

Calum and his father brought in another empty net while fishing, with his father disregarding his son's comments on the Sea Serpent being to blame. Sepron sensed them and moved close. He was spotted by Calum as he drew close to the ship before he surged upwards, the two Avantians noticing the bubbles of his approach before he erupted from the sea. Calum tried to raise the ship's sail, but Sepron loomed over and snapped the mast in his jaws. The Beast continued to attack the ship, but didn't harm either of the fisherman as they cowered in the bottom of the boat, and allowed them to return to shore after his attack.

Hydrus

Sepron bringing Tom back to the boat after being freed.

After finding the chain, Tom and Elenna followed it. Sepron sensed their approach and moved to attack, rising out of the water in front of the boat. He lashed his head, struggling with the chain before plunging back under the waves. Tom dived in pursuit, finding him lying in coral. The Beast sensed his foe approaching, snapped his head around, and surged at the young warrior, forcing him to retreat back to the surface. As he reached the surface, Sepron gave in and moved back to the seabed, letting Tom reach the boat. Tom approached again, keeping behind a wall of rocks to hide in case the Sea Serpent was on the lookout. He then darted forward and grabbed onto the collar, trying to turn the key Aduro had given him to free Sepron, finding out it was a different lock and the key was useless. The Beast heaved upwards, shaking Tom free before knocking the key out of Tom's hand with his coils. He curved around and reached out for Tom with his jaws, but Tom reached the surface again. He dived back under and unsheathed his sword, finding Sepron waiting for him under the waves. Sepron rushed at Tom, with Tom grabbing his collar and stuck his sword in the lock, causing it to spring open when turned. Now free, the Beast ripped apart the chain in fury for it corrupting him. Due to Tom's exhaustion in the fight, Sepron nudged Tom back to the boat. He dropped a tooth in the boat, his token, before swimming away.

Vedra and Krimon Twin Beasts of Avantia[]

Perfect Chaos

Sepron greeting Tom and Elenna as they arrive in the Nidrem Caves.

When Vedra and Krimon were born, Sepron travelled to the Nidrem Caves to help protect them until they were ready to make the journey to Rion for training. When Tom and Elenna arrived at the caves after their journey down the River Dour, the Sea Serpent detected them and headed straight for the pair, happily greeting them with a cry of welcome and swimming around the boat. When the other Beasts congregated outside the Nidrem Caves to see Vedra and Krimon off, Sepron was forced to remain behind in the lake due to his need to stay in water.

The Golden Armour[]

Plesio Surf

After Tom discovered Zepha guarding the Golden Helmet of the Golden Armour, Aduro suggested they summon Sepron to their aid. Tom rubbed the Beast's token, calling to the Sea Serpent. Sepron responded quickly by bursting through the water next to the boat and arched over it before crashing back down, awaiting Tom to join him and go on the offensive as he circled the small craft. After Tom and Elenna engaged Zepha, Sepron joined them, snapping at the Evil Beast and his skin. Zepha responded by twisting free and blasting ink into his eyes, hurting and blinding him. The Sea Serpent released his grip and rolled in the water, trying to remove the ink and restore his vision. After he recovered his sight, as Tom and Elenna moved away after Zepha had almost swallowed Tom, the Good Beast charged the Monster Squid again, clamping his jaws down on his tentacles to prevent him from spraying more ink and wrapping his coils around his foe, constricting the giant squid until he was crushed. As Tom and Elenna struggled in the water after their victory, the Beast pushed them back to the surface and placed them back in the boat. After Tom thanked him, Sepron bowed his head in his own thanks and dipped back under the waves.

Spiros the Ghost Phoenix[]

While sections try to go chronologically, there is no way to slot Spiros, Sephir and series 3 together cleanly, so take the order of these sections with a grain of salt.

This is good because it gives more time for things to go terribly wrong

Sepron helping summon Spiros.

Upon deciding that in order to find Spiros the six Beasts of Avantia would have to gather to summon her, Tom sought out Sepron to finish uniting the Beasts. Arcta carried him to the Western Ocean, where Tom rubbed the Sea Serpent's token. The Beast approached, breaking the waves a few times as he approached before he reared out of the shallows. He crashed back into the water as the other Good Beasts united, bringing Spiros out of hiding.

Our first rocket has one goal, up

Sepron thanking Tom.

After Tom and Elenna helped Spiros defeat Nawdren and reclaim her body, the six Beasts, including Sepron gathered to give Tom their thanks for assisting their fellow Beast of Avantia.

Sephir the Storm Monster[]

While sections try to go chronologically, there is no way to slot Spiros, Sephir and series 3 together cleanly, so take the order of these sections with a grain of salt.

When Aduro informed Tom he would have to participate in the Battle of the Beasts alongside a Beast of Avantia, he was given a choice between all six Beasts of Avantia. Sepron appeared nearby, awaiting his choice. When Tom chose Ferno, the Sea Serpent roared in approval, mirroring the other Beasts' cries. Sepron then left alongside the other Beasts of Avantia except Ferno.

The Dark Realm[]

While sections try to go chronologically, there is no way to slot Spiros, Sephir and series 3 together cleanly, so take the order of these sections with a grain of salt.

Alongside the other Beasts of Avantia, Malvel wished to lure Sepron into his realm of Gorgonia to have the Evil Beasts of the kingdom kill the Good Beasts. Sepron was drawn into the Black Sea of Gorgonia, where he was attacked by Narga. The Sea Monster dominated the battle, leaving the Beast bloodied and near death, but chose not to finish him off, likely to use him as bait to lure the Avantians after his fellow Gorgonian Beasts Torgor and Skor were defeated.

Erymanthian Boar

Sepron being attacked by Narga while trying to help Tom.

Tom and Elenna found Sepron lying prone in the waves and tried to help him, but Sepron, unconscious from his wounds, was unable to respond. As they examined him, Narga discovered them and approached. The Sea Serpent was able to wake up and rush to their aid, thrusting himself between the Sea Monster and the ship, but was quickly attacked by the Evil Beast, forcing him to bellow in rage. Tom was able to use Narga's focus on attacking the Sea Serpent to come up with a plan to defeat the Beast, which he did by binding his heads and decapitating all six at once. Doing so opened a portal back to Avantia. When Tom called to him, Sepron approached the whirlpool, circling the portal before raising his head and staring at the pair in silent thanks before plunging into the whirlpool and returning to Avantia.

Mortaxe the Skeleton Warrior[]

Blood for the blood god

Sepron with the other Beasts getting ready to fight

Sepron was unable to be summoned to the arena by Mortaxe before the rise of the battleground, but when it had emerged, one of the contender arches was filled with a foul-smelling swamp. Being forced under the Skeleton Warrior's will by the magic of the arena, Sepron magically travelled through the swamp, breaking the water and preparing to battle. The Beast rushed out of the arch alongside the others, part of the swamp moving with him and offering him mobility in battle, and waited for a chance to strike. When Nanook threw Ferno away, Sepron moved under the water and approached her, managing to reach her feet before being noticed. The corrupted Beast burst from the water at Nanook, wrapping his coils around her leg, holding firm as the Snow Monster struggled to free herself and snapping at her with his jaws. Nanook was able to rip Sepron off her leg and lifted the Beast, letting the Sea Serpent writhe before he was slammed into the ground, badly wounding and disorientating him. He was able to withdraw under the water in time to dodge Nanook's crushing stomp, but was forced to admit defeat and sit out for the remainder of the battle.

Holiday snap

Sepron, Arcta, Tagus and Nanook looming over Tom.

The Beast returned to his contender arch when Mortaxe stopped the fight after the free-for-all was left at only Ferno and Epos. As the Beast fought Tom, Sepron roared in approval when the Skeleton Warrior began to appear to be winning. When Mortaxe was defeated, the magic holding the Good Beasts of Avantia under Petra and Mortaxe's power was broken. Sepron loomed over Tom as the last of the magic wore off before he joined the other Beasts in destroying the arena to prevent its magic being used again. After the battleground was destroyed, Sepron magically returned to the Western Ocean.

The Pirate King[]

Tech Kraken

Sepron distracting the Pirates of Makai.

During the battle against Balisk and the Pirates of Makai to defend the Tree of Being, Tom summoned Sepron to battle to assist him in defeating the Water Snake. Tom called out in greeting, receiving a reciprocal roar in response. One pirate rushed at Sepron with a grappling pole and tried to attack him, but the Sea Serpent simply closed his jaws on it, easily snapping it. The pirates focused on the Good Beast attacking them, leaving Balisk to deal with the Avantians alone. Sepron withdrew under the waves, distracting the group as they went on lookout before he reappeared. The pirates pushed a large crossbow (potentially a ballista) across the deck to fire at the Sea Serpent, however were unable to before Balisk was defeated, forcing Sanpao to prepare to leave. When the Pirate King refused to stand down, Tom ordered Sepron to sink the ship, with the Beast creating waves with his tail to rock the vessel, but the ship revealed its ability to fly, rose out of the waves, and headed inland. After they left, Sepron helped the group back to land by allowing Tom to tie a rope to him that connects Leo's fishing boats and pull them through the water. Reaching the shore, Sepron released them, roared in farewell, and sank below the waves.

Raksha the Mirror Demon[]

Speed King

Sepron, Ferno, Arcta, Tagus, Nanook and Epos arriving at the Lake of Light.

When Kapra and Feldric began the summoning ritual of Raksha, Sepron was forced to travel and take part due to the enchantment of the ritual. He magically travelled to the Lake of Light, emerging from the water to participate in the summoning of the Mirror Demon. Sepron spewed water across the lake, contributing his essence into the shaping of the Evil Beast, meeting Ferno's flame with a hiss over the middle of the lake. Kapra used her snakes to slither across the prone Beasts when they fell apathetic after Raksha was summoned, with Sepron being barely able to keep his head above the water. When Tom freed the Good Beasts by removing the tokens from the shield on Raksha's armour, Sepron helped defeat the Beast by creating waves to extinguish the Mirror Demon's fireballs before Tom gave them permission to return home and allow him to finish off Raksha.

Grashkor the Beast Guard[]

The Imprisoned

Room for one more

Sepron leaving with Ferno and Epos.

While Tom and Sebastian fought Grashkor, Elenna summoned the three Beasts of Avantia who could reach the Chamber of Pain: Sepron, Ferno, and Epos, to help defeat the Beast Guard. Sepron was the first to arrive, approaching the pair of Avantians in the water and circling them. Initially, Tom thought the Sea Serpent was a group of sharks, but when Grashkor lowered his whip at the pair to finish them, Sepron burst from the water, snapping the bone whip in his jaws, then plunging back down and starting to circle Tom and Sebastian on the surface protectively, defended from Grashkor's dive-bombing by Epos and Ferno. After the Beast Guard was defeated, Sepron spouted water in farewell before swimming away.

Master of the Beasts[]

When Voltrex was revived in the body of the Blue Knight of Forton, Malvel tasked him with hunting down Sepron. The possessed knight set out to the Western Ocean for his hunt. He eventually found the Sea Serpent and the two entered a fierce battle. Voltrex came out the better of the two combatants, badly injuring Sepron, but was unable to finish him as the Good Beast put up a fight and retreated.

Fugu the Frightening

Sepron arriving to help Tom fight Voltrex.

When Tom became involved in battle and forced Voltrex to revert to his true form to remain able to fight, the Two-Headed Octopus grabbed Tom and began to eat him. The Sea Serpent sensed the danger Tom was in and rushed to help by grabbing the anchor of the Gorgon Voyager and slamming it into the Evil Beast, forcing him to release the Avantian. The Beast let out a welcoming greeting to Tom before helping him tie the anchor chain around the stunned Beast's tentacles. Tom asked Sepron to take him to the shore, which he complied with before turning to leave.

Octoshower

While Sepron wished to hurry to recover from his injuries, Voltrex became free far quicker than expected, ordered the Blue Knight's Varkule to engage, and moved towards the shore to attack, meeting Tom in battle in the shallows. The Good Beast was unwilling to ignore this and hurried to the shallows himself, battling Voltrex violently once more. While he fought valiantly, Voltrex's many limbs proved to be too strong, gashing him badly and keeping his teeth at bay. The Evil Beast wrapped his tentacles around the Good Beast and lobbed him out of the sea, crashing onto the beach. Out of the water, Sepron began to struggle, being unable to breathe air. Elenna began trying to push the Sea Serpent back in as Tom dealt with the Evil Beast and Malvel's distracting creature, pushing him closer to the sea, but building up a large sandbank as they dislocated more sand in front of the Beast as they pushed, which made it harder to keep moving Sepron. By the time Tom could help, Sepron's gill movements grew shallow and his eyes were glazed, indicating he was close to death. After clearing much of the sandbank, they were able to roll him into the shallows, although he gave no response. After another roll, he was in deep enough water to survive, but had fallen unconscious. After trying to rouse him and failing, the Avantians assumed him dead and prepared to leave, but Sepron awoke, rejuvenated by the water and swept Tom's legs out from under him, revealing he was alive. A jubilant Tom helped heal the many wounds Voltrex had scored on him in battle with his token before the Beast left to recover in the deep ocean.

The New Age[]

While unable to attend Taladon's funeral procession to the Gallery of Tombs in person, Sepron channelled the grief he felt for the death of a Master of the Beasts through his token in Tom's shield. His mourning was interrupted by Kensa, who attacked him and managed to draw blood from the wounds and take it. In Henkrall, Kensa would use the blood of the Sea Serpent to create Elko.

The Darkest Hour[]

Yamato

Sepron crashing down on Solak.

When the Lightning Beasts were released from the Lightning Prison, Solak reentered the now smaller strait between Avantia and Gwildor, endangering Sepron and causing Tom and Elenna to set out to help. When Tom and Elenna took back the Lightning Tokens from Sanpao and Kensa, Sepron arrived to help, carrying the pair out of range of the pirates' crossbows. Against Tom's will, he took them to the badly wounded Krabb and the stuck Freya, the pair still recovering from their own clash with Solak. He drew up alongside the Master of the Sea, allowed the Avantians to leap over to the Gwildorian Beast, and hurried off, aware that Solak was still in the area. When the Scourge of the Sea attacked Krabb and the group again, he returned to battle, leaping up and crashing down on the Evil Beast. Tom assumed Solak was dead and when the Sea Serpent reappeared, thanked him for his help, but the Good Beast knew Solak lived and was busy looking for him, seeing his fin move away as he retreated. After the Beast left, Sepron returned to the coast of Avantia to patrol it and ensure Solak attempted no attacks on the coastline.

Jakara the Ghost Warrior[]

Iowa

Sepron heeding Tom's summon.

Victory

Sepron drawing close to Krikos, becoming cautious.

During Leo's attempt to take Tom, Elenna, and Daltec to Krikos, the magic of Jakara manipulated the wind to make approaching the island by ship far more difficult. When Leo brought this up, Tom summoned Sepron, who quickly rose up alongside the boat, startling the fisherman. Tom, Elenna, and Daltec climbed on and the Master of the Beasts ordered Sepron on, swiftly moving towards the island. When they drew close, Sepron halted, aware of Kara's fate on Krikos and the danger of the island and not wishing to lose Tom to it as well. He brought this up when Tom questioned why he had paused, but Tom urged him onward regardless. When dropping them at the island, Sepron informed Tom he hoped he would see him again. before leaving.

After Jalka's defeat and Kara's death, Sepron carried the group back to the Avantian mainland.

Verak the Storm King[]

Love Love Deluxe

After the Pirates of Makai's attack on Jengtor, Tom had Irina send a vision to Elenna asking her to join him in dealing with whatever the pirates were planning and to arrive as quick as possible. In order to do so, Sepron rose from the depths, offering Elenna a lift across the strait and badly scaring Admiral Ryker. By the time Sepron reached Gwildor, Verak had already risen and engaged Krabb. The Sea Serpent roared in rage and created a large wave, smashing into the Storm King and forcing him away from Krabb as the wave lifted him up and away. The Beast of Avantia then rushed between the two Beasts to join Krabb and Tom. As Verak prepared to battle the protectors of Avantia's and Gwildor's waters, Sepron charged at him, smacking a claw aside and rushing at the Beast, withdrawing and lunging. He tried to snap at a pincer, but the Storm King pulled it away and began to move on the Gwildorian coastline. Sepron sped off in pursuit, dodging the cannonballs raining down from the Pirates of Makai's ship. After Verak began to try and sink the Avantian fleet, Sepron and Tom charged the Storm King to buy them time to retreat. Tom helped keep Sepron safe by parrying Verak's swipes as the Sea Serpent knifed through the water, but he soon grew tired and Tom asked the serpent to head to shore and drop him off. After doing so, Sepron wished him luck and dived underwater, heading for Avantia.

The Sorcerer's Revenge[]

Vitamin C

Sepron unconscious on the beach due to Malvel's spell, being aided by Daltec.

Walking Heart

Tom, Elenna, and Daltec administering the antidote to Sepron.

When Malvel struck Tom's shield with a poisonous sleeping spell, the magic travelled through the tokens and rendered all the Good Beasts unconscious. The tide washed the prone Sepron onto the shore at Sandy Cove, where he was found by villagers, who believed him to be dead. After creating an antidote, Daltec headed out to aid Sepron, finding the Beast with the villagers' help. After being attacked by Tom (who assumed the hooded wizard kneeling next to Sepron was Malvel trying the kill the Good Beast), Daltec poured the potion in Sepron's nostril before leaving to help Nanook. Sepron awoke after the group had left and returned to the sea.

The Lost Beasts of Makai[]

Milagro Man

Sepron appearing to take the tokens of the Beasts of Makai away.

After Nersepha was defeated in the Bay of Heroes and Ria's invasion fleet was destroyed, meaning all four Evil Beasts of Makai had been defeated and their tokens were in the possession of the Avantians, Tom wished to ensure the Beasts would never again rise to torment the land. The best way to ensure this was by hiding their tokens so they would never again be found, as Ria had used them to resurrect the Beasts of Makai. To do this, he called Sepron to Makai and gave him the four tokens alongside an order to hide them in the deepest depths of the sea, which the Beast of Avantia complied with.

The Ghost of Karadin[]

Following the return of Karadin, a disgraced Master of the Beasts from centuries ago, Sepron, like all the other Avantian Good Beasts, grew disoriented at the presence of two Masters of the Beasts, though whether this affected his responsibilities is unknown. Sepron's voice flitted in and out of Tom's mind through the Red Jewel and his tooth as angry and confused whispers, mixing and merging with the voices of the other Beasts.

Sepron VS Narga[]

Sepron after helping Will and Evan reach the surface.

Anticipating Sepron would be chosen by the next wielder of the golden gauntlet to fight against him and Narga, Maximus captured and bricked the Sea Serpent up in a cave to prevent him from participating and all but ensuring victory. Will and Evan found him by following a trail of bubbles to the cave. Sepron roared in distressed greeting as the Avantians began to devise a way to free him. They used Evan's spear to lever rock up, with the Sea Serpent throwing himself against the wall, adding his strength to the attempt to ensure him his freedom. The pair were able to free Sepron, but lost the Pearl of Gwildor while doing so, and began to drown. Sepron lifted them in his coils and took them to the surface. Sepron and Will thanked each other for saving each other, forming a bond of Beast and rider for the Battle of the Beasts against Maximus and Narga. When Will admitted there was no way to recover the pearl, Sepron dived down and found it, ensuring Will and Evan could continue. They clung to the Good Beast as he took them into the deep sea, finding Maximus's lair. The two left Sepron above the building as they entered, as Will hoped he could bypass the Battle of the Beasts if he could prevent Sepron and Narga from meeting again.

Sepron taking Will and Evan back to the other recruits after defeating Narga.

After Maximus guided Narga to attack, Will called Sepron to them, seeing the battle as unavoidable and requiring aid. When the Beast arrived, he roared in challenge to Narga and rushed at him, ploughing straight into his chest before turning and breaking the shell holding Will and Evan down. Narga attacked, sinking his fangs into Sepron before the Sea Serpent grabbed the Gorgonian Beast's body in his jaws and threw him away. Narga retreated out of the cave, being pursued by Sepron. Maximus enchanted a hammerhead shark to attack, with Sepron speeding up to outswim it and slapping it with his tail as it drew close. After Will repelled it and the group caught up with Narga, Maximus, and Ria, Sepron shot past them, launching out of the sea before splashing back down. Maximus moved Narga away, luring the Sea Serpent and Avantians into following. He came to stop by a boulder field, where Ria created a whirlpool. While able to avoid it the first time, the Beast was unable to escape it the second time, being pulled into the violent current. He was able to escape but used up much of his energy doing so. Will had Sepron pretend to be badly injured, luring Narga into approaching, where Will decapitated two heads, revealing the Sea Monster's new regeneration ability. As the heads of the Evil Beast began to battle each other, Ria used her magic to move the whirlpool closer to the Sea Serpent, which Will had Sepron willingly enter, drawing Narga in as well, where he was ripped ahead by the battle between his heads and the currents. The Sea Serpent then carried Will, Evan and the captured Maximus to the surface (although the son of Malvel promptly escaped through teleportation), and the group were praised for their success over Narga and Maximus

Beast Quest and Sea Quest: An Unexpected Adventure[]

Note this section focuses on appearances from the crossover of Beast Quest and Sea Quest: An Unexpected Adventure, a non-canon story. As such this section does not effect the main timeline of Beast Quest or Sea Quest.

Learning of Avantia and the powerful Beast Sepron who guarded its waters, the Professor concocted a plot to capture the Beast and use him as the base of his latest Robobeast. He developed a contraption that created portals from whirlpools, which he used to make a portal between Avantia and Nemos, drawing Sepron in. The misplaced Beast was quickly found by the Professor, who captured him and made him a Robobeast under his control, adding saw blades to his jaws and lining his body with wires before releasing him on Nemos. He encountered Max, and engaged in battle, being driven away by him.

As Sepron and Max fought, Tom found and was pulled through the portal, seeing the Beast and the Aquoran fighting overhead, and rushed up to help. Sepron noticed him and driven by the mind-altering enhancements made by the Professor, attacked, striking Tom with his tail, which the Master of the Beasts assumed was an accident born from the mysteriousness of the whole situation. As the two battled, the mechanized Sepron charged Tom from behind, who was warned by Max. Tom tried to order Sepron to stop, ignored by the Robobeast, but was repelled by Rivet slamming into his now metallic face. The Robobeast screeched with anger and moved to attack Sumara. He coiled around a tower, beginning to crush it before Sumaran forces arrived and hurled spears at him. Most bounced off but a few lodged in his skin, causing him to writhe in pain and be driven off and the tower to collapse as the Robobeast retreated. When the Professor was surrounded by Sumarans, Sepron returned, knocking the soldiers aside and allowing the Professor to grab hold of him and be pulled away.

Sepron headed to the open ocean, ambushing Tom, Max and Lia when they arrived. As the Professor pulled a blaster and began to fire, Lia tried to communicate with Sepron with her powers, having no luck. Tom tried doing the same with the Red Jewel, which the Beast heard but ignored. Tom drew his sword, hopped on an aquabike, and insulted Sepron to lure him into following, entering a cave, with the Professor on top of the Robobeast slamming into the wall and falling unconscious. The Beast hid in the darkness of the cave, waiting Tom to enter further in. When he did, the cybernetic Sea Serpent emerged, slamming his head into his opponent, knocking the pearl mask free. As Tom tried to find it, Sepron charged him, missing and jamming his head into an opening in the rock wall, unable to free himself. As he writhed, Max prised the metal plates off, releasing Sepron from the Professor's control. Tom calmed the confused Beast down as he and Max carved the wall enough for Sepron to free himself. As the group left, the Professor reappeared and, unaware Sepron was no longer a Robobeast, ordered the Sea Serpent to attack them. When he realised the Beast was no longer under his control, he turned and rushed away. Max and Rivet found the whirlpool producer and used it to reopen a portal to Avantia, which Tom and Sepron used to return home.

Powers, Abilities and Weaknesses[]

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Underwater Breathing: Sepron can breathe both in and out of water.
  • Tidal Wave Generation: Sepron can cause tidal waves with a swish of his tail. This has only been shown when he was under an evil enchantment or to stop the Pirates of Makai from escaping. He hardly ever uses this power due to its destructive capability, being able to submerge entire villages in water with just a single wave.
  • Natural Weaponry: Sepron has sharp fangs which are strong enough to snap a mast off a boat with ease and destroy Grashkor's whip, which is made of bones. He uses these sharp teeth to attack his opponents, being his main form of attack in battle.
  • Constriction: Sepron can constrict his opponents, as seen when he killed Zepha by constricting him. This is an ability he uses rarely.
  • Water Breath: Sepron can shoot out water from his mouth, as seen when he and the other Good Beasts contributed in summoning Raksha.
  • Enhanced Durability: Sepron has incredible durability, as he can survive being slammed into the ground by Nanook (although he was forced to admit defeat afterwards).
  • Speed Swimming: Sepron can travel through water with amazing speed.

Weaknesses[]

  • Enchantments: Due to being a Good Beast, Sepron is susceptible to enchantments.
  • Durability Limits: Sepron's durability has limits, as seen when Narga almost killed him.
  • Water Requirement: Sepron cannot survive out of water for too long, and cannot go onto land.
